Caracas – Where to Stay

Venezuela’s capital city of Caracas offers accommodations across all budget ranges. Although previously “budget” and “backpacker” hotels were considerably difficult to come by, this has changed in recent years. Most visitors will stay in the Sabana Grande region, which is in the center of the city. Many of the city’s budget accommodations charge by the hour. Mid-range and luxury accommodations can be found in the La Castellana district, including five-star hotel options and a few select international hotel brands such as the JW Marriott.

The Hotel Tamanaco Caracas is located only 5 kilometers from Parque del Este. Rooms feature flat-screen TVs, minibars, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The reasonably-priced Novo Hotel offers views of the El Ávila National Park. All rooms include complimentary Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Guests will find that some of the rooms offer unique artwork. Upgraded accommodation options are available and include minibars, balconies and in select suites, whirlpool tubs. Room service is available. On-site amenities include a restaurant complete with a roof-top terrace that offers views of both the city of Caracas as well as the nearby mountain range.
