Havana – Eat

Visitors to Havana will enjoy that most if not all hotels catered to tourists offer a daily breakfast, usually in buffet format although not always included in the room rate. Havana includes various government-run restaurants. These tend to offer a nicer ambiance; however, food quality is generally average. For those seeking more authentic dining experiences, food stalls are widely available throughout the city offering budget options such as sandwiches and pizza. Five-star hotels offer fine dining options, but generally visitors will be better to try local notable restaurants if they are seeking a premium experience. An example of this is the La Fontana Restaurant, one of the most notable grill restaurants in all of Cuba.
