Lima is the largest city in Peru and offers visitors everything from beautiful architecture, amazing cuisine, exciting nightlife, beaches, and more. The city offers many exciting cultural and artistic venues and exhibits. While many visitors often rush through Lima in an effort to get to nearby locations such as Machu Picchu, the city offers world-class entertainment options for tourists and neighborhoods with their own individual offerings and charm. Miraflores is the center of tourist activity and includes activities around the clock to keep you busy.
Plaza de Armas
Considered the birthplace of Lima, it is located in the center of the city and surrounded by various buildings of both cultural and historical importance. These include the Government Palace, Cathedral of Lime, Municipal Palace, and many more. Tracing its origin back to 1523, Plaza de Armas includes a fountain centerpiece and has served as a market, bullfighting ring, and even gallows.
