Mexico City – Essentials

Visitors to Mexico City will most likely access the city via Benito Juárez International Airport, located to the east of the city. The airport includes two terminals connected by both a bus and light rail system for easy and fast navigation. The airport services inbound flights from many of the world’s largest cities including as far out as Frankfurt and Tokyo. While Mexico City has often maintained a reputation as dangerous, precautions taken by visitors should be those taken in any country in Latin America. Visitors should beware of pickpockets and generally not stroll empty streets at night.
