Quito – Eat

Quito offers visitors the ability to enjoy local and international cuisines throughout the city. Of particular interest are dishes that include seafood, and fish, as well as locally grown fruits. One of the most famous districts for foodies is the Plaza El Quinde, located in the Mariscal district. Fine dining options can also be found in La Floresta. The city is well known for its take on churrasco, as well as a wide array of Chinese restaurants referred to locally as “Chifas”.
