Discovery Hostel
Having opened its doors in 2013, the Discovery Hostel was originally a summer house owned by the baroness of Rio Negro from 1905. The hostel is walking distance to many of Rio de Janeiro’s most popular historical attractions as well as nightlife. The metro station is a short walk from the hostel, offering the ability to be in either Copacabana or Ipanema in only 10 minutes. The rooms include gender-segregated options and come complete with air conditioning, fans, lockers and complimentary Wi-Fi.
