Machu Picchu – Stay

Machu Picchu has only one hotel within the grounds of the ruins, offering luxury accommodation only. The majority of tourists to the area will stay in Aguas Calientes, considered the gateway to Machu Picchu. Aguas Calientes offers an array of hotel options, including budget “backpacker” style locations as well as many mid-range hotels. There are several options for those who wish to spend more money, however, the majority of the hotels are considered mid-range or budget in category.
